Divine Timing

Everyday, the sunrise rises and sets on a continual rotating clock. The seasons come and go the same time every year yet we still say the same ol' "I can't believe the holidays are already here!" Time is one of the most precious gifts we have, but it's something that we can take for granted at times. We get stuck on making routines, setting plans, and trying to control life only to be 'surprised' when things don't go our way. Life is unpredictable. Change is inevitable.

Man plans, and God laughs.

I was introduced to the words 'divine timing' in my early 20's when I started using an Oracle deck. For those of you that don't know, an oracle deck is tool some use for receiving positive affirmations or messages. It's a no-rule type of tarot. No structure or layout is needed. You just shuffle the cards, while thinking of a question or just asking for guidance for your day. There are many decks out there, but my favorite theme for an oracle deck is the angels. One of the cards I drew frequently was Diving Timing.  Little did I know, it would be one of my favorite cards after all these years. It  affirms to me that everything is happening in the 'order' and time it's supposed to. No need to rush, you can't control it anyways. No need to get upset when things go awry, it will happen when it's supposed to if at all. 
It's easiest to see examples of divine timing in the biggest transitions of your life or significant milestones that you have accomplished. Remember you before the crisis, the problem, or the huge move? How about enduring a heartbreak only to find your soulmate afterwards? Think back to how things fell into place at the right time and the way everything worked out in maybe a way you didn't see happening. Divine timing is such a gift. When you notice it, acknowledge it and then be grateful. Thank God, the universe, your angels, the Divine Source you choose. Trust the process and know that the universe has your back.
