Full Moon~Spring Equinox

In like a lion she came! March has always been my 2nd fav month. Weather wise, it seems like everyone had a taste of spring and a flashback to winter. I snuck a few plants out a couple weekends ago for a 'field trip' and I certainly had to bring them back inside, even here in Texas. March has always been a great month for me. The changing of the season along with one of my favorite holidays, St. Patricks' Day (my Mimi's birthday). My body clock seems to know when to transition to the next season as I start 'spring cleaning' or craving the smell of dirt after a long winter. When I lived in West Virginia, I'd spend days raking the leaves and cleaning out my flower beds stopping frequently to take a look around and inhale the spring air. The Spring Equinox is this Sunday! I plan on doing lots of plant magic this weekend and moving the hardiest plants out to there new spring/summer spot. With the recent time change, we are all forced to change our routine a bit. I received acupuncture for years from the best Acupuncturist in the whole world, Tamme Marggraff. I remember the element of Spring was always something that needed to be treated. It was always my favorite treatment because it gave me immediate relief and a renewed vitality.  In Chinese medicine, the Spring is associated with wood element and the climate is wind. It governs the liver and gall bladder and the emotion is anger. Ooooo 20 yr old Leslie had some of that tucked away. Sessions from Tamme transformed my churning tumultuous waters to an easy breezy flowing river. Make sure you do something for yourself as we transition into the new season.

On top of it being the Spring Equinox and Ostara on Sunday, La Luna will be FULL on Friday! Raise your hand if your already feeling it! The last full moon of winter will bring a cleansing if you let it. Stationed in the earth sign of Virgo, this full moon is all about cleaning up and shipping out. Chunk it in the trash! You know what I mean. MOVE FORWARD. Sigh, it's tough but someone has to do it. No one is gonna do it for you. Do the responsible thing already. OMG, I don't even like typing these words. Seriously though, 'man/woman up' or adult up already (still eyerolling at myself). Being an adult really blows sometimes but let me remind you how good it feels to complete a project. You know that feeling you get when finish vacuuming? You dread it and then you finally pull it out of the closet, cats go running, and you finish the entire house in 20 minutes. You spent more time agonizing about it than actually doing the task. You feel amazing and it's clean! How about when you meet your goal? I'd say I feel PROUD and satisfied, yall. I mean who doesn't want to feel that?? Now is the time for you to spring forward. Feel that nudge of the season put a pep in your step. I don't know where I come up with these lines of brilliance. Notice how many 'feel's this brings you. Now Go! Do! Be You, baby. There is nothing better. You are amazing. You got this.
