Black New Moon + Hybrid Solar Eclipse

​What a potent time yall! It is indeed different than all the others, I swear! Not only is it a Black New Moon in Aries but its also a hybrid Solar Eclipse. Whoa. Now unfortunately, if you are on my side of the world, you will not be able to view the eclipse but I know you feel it. So, what does it all mean??

• Black new moon just means there is an extra new moon in a season. So basically there are 4 new moons instead of 3 during this present season we are in!
• Solar Eclipses happen a couple of times a year but a total solar eclipse is even more rare happening once every year or 2. 
• Hybrid. Well that means its a total eclipse and an annular eclipse (also known as the ring of fire). Go ahead, sing it, I'll wait....

 New moons are always about new beginnings and new projects so its conflicting when the eclipse is happening in tandem b/c it generally means the opposite. This can cause some mixed emotions. Repeat after me, you are not crazy, you are human. During this celestial magical moment, this is a time of closure and an end to a major phase of your life. Epiphanies and 'break thrus' are closer than you think so get ready for more energy and vibrancy. This is a supercharged energy wave and you want to catch it on the crest. Ride that wave to a new direction or new level of commitment. However, you want to be patient b/c the balanced approach is best. Eclipses can expose things we do not wish to see or look at but I promise you those days are gone. Sticking your head in the sand will not work for you physically or emotionally anymore. ​

Don't forget it's also EARTH DAY!!! Whether its indoors or outdoors, get yourself a baby plant this weekend! Not all of us have a green thumb and that's ok. The joy you get from tending to the plant weekly is really something. If you have a yard, I'd highly recommend planting things in the ground! Not only is it good for the earth, but the eco system and wildlife. Save the bees! One tree can provide a day's supply of O2 for up to 4 people! Trees also clean the air from negative effects of CO2. ​

A loving creative age is rising and the end of extreme self interest is exiting. A more meaningful world is being birthed where we can take care of ourselves and each other. The burst of new energy is coming and can feel familiar to many as some might call it the age of Aquarius or the Venusian age. Tap into the fertile and create energy that is surrounding you and keep your vibration in the light. Try the following to help you during these energies that are quite powerful:

1. Body of water: Immerse. You can also try soak/float tanks or your own personally tub. Salt is an even better option so add that when/if u can. 
2. Movement: Walk. Run. Dance. Skip. Jump. 
3. Food Intake: Think natural and grounding. Fruits and veggies and raw if you can! I'm craving some pizza but my sis suggested making my own since she knew the gluten and the added preservatives would make me feel sick. Veggie pizza on a cauliflower crust is on the menu tonight! 
4. Rest: It's ok to do nothing. If you want to meditate or practice a slower moving movement like qi gong, try that! 
5. Avoid negative stimuli: Try reading, coloring, drawing, painting, or any other activity other than the tube. If you do relax with the TV, then watch light hearted shows like family, cooking, or decorating genres. Or watch Gaia which is full of educational and entertaining programs. The point is if it makes you anxious or unsettled, don't keep watching it. You can go back to Dateline next week.
